I’m Dmitrii Shmatov, a Milan-based photographer working across fashion, commercial, and editorial projects.
My focus is clean visual language, strong atmosphere, and natural presence in the frame. I work with brands, designers, agencies, and private clients who value aesthetics, clarity, and a professional approach to production.
I regularly shoot during Milan Fashion Week, Pitti Uomo, and collaborate on commercial projects across Northern Italy, including Lake Como.
Approach
I believe strong photography starts before the camera is turned on. Clear preparation, understanding the goal of the shoot, and creating a calm working environment are essential parts of my process. This approach helps people feel confident in front of the camera and allows brands to communicate clearly through visuals that feel both refined and real.
